Job Announcement: Internship Position at the Mossawa Center
Location: Haifa, Israel

The Mossawa Center, the Advocacy Center for Arab Citizens in Israel, is seeking a highly committed local intern to join our team in our Haifa office. This full-time internship provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the center’s mission of advocating for the rights of Palestinian citizens of Israel through international outreach and advocacy efforts.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Draft narrative project reports and grant proposals for international donors and foundations.

- Compose press releases for international media.

- Update Mossawa’s contact database with project partners, international donors, and the international press.

- Prepare reports for dissemination to international governmental and non-governmental bodies.

- Update the English website and social media accounts.

- Support the organization of conferences and events for international missions.

- Collaborate with the International Advocacy team on composing project proposals and reporting to donors.

- Assist in organizing and planning advocacy tours within the EU and the US.

Qualifications:

- Commitment to Mossawa’s goals and human rights.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in International Relations, Diplomacy, or a related field (preference) 

- High proficiency in English.

- Knowledge of Arabic and/or Hebrew (preference).

- Basic knowledge of local and regional politics.

- Highly organized with attention to detail.

- Strong writing and communication skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

- Ability to handle multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Internship Duration:

- Full-time commitment for at least six months.
