Friday, June 19: The Legal Status of Arab Society 2026 Conference – Conference Program Attached

Mossawa Center will hold its conference, "The Legal Status of Arab Society 2026," on Friday, June 19, 2026, in Nazareth.

The conference takes place amid a critical political and legal period marked by growing challenges affecting the status of Arab society, its rights, and its civic and political space.

This year's conference also marks the 25th anniversary of the Mossawa Center and its long-standing work and advocacy for the collective, political, civil, and economic rights of Arab society.

The conference will address the legal and political developments that have taken place since 2023, planning and construction policies, legal prosecutions and restrictions affecting Arab citizens, and the legal tools available to combat violence and crime. Discussions will also focus on the impact of the 2026 elections and ongoing political shifts on Arab society, its ability to influence and shape the next phase, and efforts to strengthen its political representation.

The conference program is attached.
